Introducing Jannike and Pauline Allen, two teenage sisters currently living in a solar home in Northern California.

After visiting the Solar Decathlon 2005 event in Washington DC, Jannike and Pauline applied lessons learned, helping to build a solar home in Northern California where they currently reside. They are both avid bicyclists, cycling to school and around town rain or shine. During the last few summers they have led solar energy activities at local summer camps and the annual Solar Schoolhouse Summer Institute for Educators.
